JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Herstal

  • Lead the Methods team by organizing tasks, monitoring progress, and supporting team members’ development.
  • Define, formalize, and continuously improve manufacturing and assembly processes in line with quality, safety, and performance standards.
  • Supervise the creation of manufacturing documentation and detailed work instructions for assembly operations.
  • Support pre-series production and the industrialization phase, both internally and at supplier sites.
  • Analyze existing manufacturing and assembly processes to identify and implement improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth communication and effective coordination.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation of production and assembly equipment, ensuring alignment with product specifications.
  • Organize and oversee operator training on working methods and best practices; manage operator accreditations and their renewals.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of newly developed methods and their compliance with established quality standards.
  • Conduct production start-up audits to assess process adherence and readiness.
  • Draft technical purchasing specifications for suppliers and provide them with technical support.
  • Participate in supplier qualification processes and assess their ability to meet compliance and delivery requirements.
