Description

The Methods Agent is responsible for developing production drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation to support efficient and compliant production. This role works closely with production and support teams to resolve technical issues while ensuring alignment with applicable standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities * Define machining and assembly manufacturing processes based on drawing requirements and customer specifications, taking into account raw materials, surface treatments, geometric tolerances, and production volumes. * Create and manage parts, components, and manufacturing routings in the ERP system. * Prepare and maintain up-to-date manufacturing, assembly, and inspection documentation, including AS9100 FAI requirements. * Produce technical drawings based on manufacturing processes, surface treatments, and equipment used. * Develop visual aids for production and support departments (CNC machining, conventional machining, deburring, identification, assembly, and subcontracting). * Analyze non-conformities and prepare corrective work orders. * Design assembly and CMM inspection fixtures, along with the associated instructions. * Support production by coordinating the resolution of technical issues with various departments. * Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and company procedures. * Perform any other related tasks as required. Required Qualifications * College diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aircraft Manufacturing, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role within a manufacturing environment. * Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, Glovious). * Experience with ERP systems (JobBoss is an asset); * Ability to work independently with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. * Good technical problem-solving skills. * Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility. * Proficiency in French and English * The duties, responsibilities, and qualifications described in this document are not intended to be an exhaustive list.
