Be part of a team where your work safeguards lives and powers progress. For a temporary project in our facilities in Geneva, we're currently recruiting a Junior Methods Technician. Main tasks: Optimize the manufacturing process and product during the full product life. Validate and maintain the assembly drawing and BOM in the ERP. Define and update the routing time in the ERP. Create and update the manufacturing instruction. Provide and design the tools and jigs for the manufacturing of products. Support production during Pre-Serial and Serial production. Support internal projects (Production transfer, Automation project …). Ensure the respect of the norms, acting proactively for the safety of the process and equipment. Ensure a low NC occurrence by deploying locked process. Ensure the cost to market by process optimization. Ensure the production efficiency by suitable process. Degree in mechanical/industrial engineering with or without professional experience, or a technician diploma with some years of experience in the domain. Availability for travelling internationally (the prevision is for around 3 flights of 2-3 weeks, but it could be more). Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English. Responsibilities
The Junior Methods Technician will optimize the manufacturing process and product throughout the product life cycle and support production during pre-serial and serial production. They will also ensure compliance with safety norms and work on internal projects.
