Experience: At least 7 years of project management experience, with a focus on technical or engineering projects, preferably in the offshore sector.

THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic data and technology company, specializing in offshore renewable energy projects. This role involves managing the planning and execution of several interdepartmental projects, reporting directly to the MetOcean Programme Manager, and indirectly to the MetOcean General Manager and HSE Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within technical and engineering environments, and a proven track record in delivering complex projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Leadership and Delivery:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Management: Lead and manage a diverse team of Project Engineers with varying levels of experience. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
Safety and Quality: Lead and promote Company procedures and ensure best practices adhered to at all times through active participation.
Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with multiple departments such as Engineering, Production, Field Operations, Data Science, Finance, HR, and others to ensure project requirements are met.
Process Development: Define and optimize project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Develop training programs to elevate team capabilities in project management.
Resource Management: Work with divisional heads to ensure that we allocate resources appropriately to ensure project needs are met without overextending personnel or budgets.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular communication with all project stakeholders, including updates and progress reports to senior management. Travel and Site Visits: Travel to offshore and international sites as required to oversee project execution and ensure alignment with project goals. Skills Required / being used to perform in this position:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
Experience: At least 7 years of project management experience, with a focus on technical or engineering projects, preferably in the offshore sector.
