Description

This position is located at the Centennial Sportsplex. Typical duties consist of: * Assists in the operation of revenue producing facility * Greeting and assisting customers * Signing customers in * Booking reservations with booking software * Enforcing rules and policies * Assisting with special events setup, operation and take down * Must be able to operate cash register, computer, and other related equipment * Clean equipment and facility * Taking out trash * Monitor and report building upkeep * Monitor programs for safety and proper service The ideal candidate should: * Have working knowledge of computer and Microsoft office suite * Ability to operate a cash register and count money accurately * Ability to work well with others * Ability to handle customer complaints and issues that arise in a professional manner. * Ability to set up and take down equipment for events Work hours vary and will include days, evenings & weekends. Up to 30 hours per week. Rate of pay is $18.00 per hour. Position is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. (2 positions available) The POWER Youth program, previously known as Opportunity NOW, provides career exploration and work experience activities for youth 14 to 24 years old. The name POWER Youth was selected by the peer youth leadership team based on how they view themselves and their future.

Responsibilities

Assists in the operation of a revenue-producing facility by greeting customers, managing bookings, and enforcing policies. Responsible for facility upkeep, equipment cleaning, and supporting special event setup and teardown.
