We’re seeking a Metrologist Group Leader to oversee equipment maintenance, qualification, and team development in a GMP-regulated lab environment. Affordable cost of living with vibrant urban and suburban options Expanding life sciences and pharmaceutical ecosystem Relocation support and onboarding assistance to help you settle in smoothly 🔍 What You’ll Do Lead equipment maintenance and qualification activities across lab operations Troubleshoot technical issues and serve as a subject matter expert on lab instrumentation Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and global quality groups Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance lab efficiency Supervise and mentor team members, manage workflow, and conduct performance reviews Ensure compliance with GMP standards and maintain accurate documentation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences (e.g., chemistry, physics) 4+ years of industry lab experience, including leadership responsibilities Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with CMMS systems Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership abilities Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship Willingness to relocate to Indianapolis – relocation support is available Additional Information Position is full-time, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Overtime as needed. Position is located in downtown Indianapolis, IN.
