Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Metrology Technician to join our team. We are seeking a skilled Metrologist to join our Quality team. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and performing precision measurement and inspection processes to ensure compliance with customer and industry specifications. The Metrologist will work closely with Engineering, Tooling, and Production teams to support new product launches, tooling validation, and ongoing production quality.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Metrology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in a quality role, metrology preferred
  • Proficiency with tools such as CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines), 3D scanning, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
  • Strong understanding of measurement uncertainty, statistical analysis, and quality systems.
  • Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, and quality systems ISO 9001:2015 a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Knowledge of software such as Polyworks is preferred.
  • Certification in metrology or calibration is preferred.
