JOB SUMMARY:

You will be responsible for qualification, calibration, preventative maintenance, and repair of analytical and laboratory instruments.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Install and qualify new equipment and control software
• Perform preventative maintenance or coordinate vendor service
• Calibrate and verify validated instruments per SOPs
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate procurement of new instruments
• Create and maintain SOPs related to metrology and instrumentation

THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE:

• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• High attention to detail and precision in documentation
• Ability to collaborate and train staff effectively
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
