Description
Primary function is TEM analysis using Thermo fisher or JEOL TEM Understand TEM sample preparation of lamella Strong focus on developing faster sample processing approaches, Active participation in opportunities to develop new sample processing techniques Provide new learnings and developments to other TEM techs through documentation, presentations, and training sessions. Open to collaborative efforts with process engineers: to develop TEM techniques to better image features and properties of interest, that could lead to new microscopy methods or analysis conducted within or through the direction our lab,that could assist in improved process development efforts Work with process engineers to understand how to best process their samples using our equipment,Participation in evaluating new instruments for lab growth Master's or PhD with 0-5 years of focused experience in TEM analysis experience with TEM sample preparation is highly desirable. TEM analysis experiences such as (EELS, EDS,Diffraction,4D STEM) Problem-solving skills Communication skills Semiconductor experience preferred Bachelor or higher degree preferred Extensive knowledge of TEM technology, and hands-on experience of Thermo fisher or JEOL TEM tools. Candidate should possess good written and verbal English communication skills to work with large internal customer base
