We are currently looking for a highly motivated dynamic individual to join Torfaen County Borough Council, Adults & Communities division. We are a multi-disciplinary group of teams that work together with partner agencies to meet the social care needs of adults from the age of 18. Our aim is to work proactively with individuals, to promote choice, control, and positive risk taking to achieve outcomes in areas that matters most to the individual.
The successful candidate will be a registered social worker. You will be committed to working in a strengths-based style focusing on ‘what matters’ to the individual.
We are looking for flexibility, enthusiasm and dedication to working positively with individuals in the community and hospital settings. You will need to be able to form and develop positive relationships with individuals and carers to ensure that they are supported to achieve outcomes that matter to them.
