The Manufacturing Engineer 3 must be able to reason through manufacturing and assembly problems independently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Troubleshoot any problem on a Haas machine within their discipline, mechanical or electrical. Troubleshoot basic machine geometry problems. Design assembly tooling that is rugged and simple to use as well as design logical floor plans for manufacturing. Ownership of their projects and drive all aspects to completion. Meet aggressive deadlines consistently and work well independently. Solve most manufacturing problems on the shop floor as well as develop manufacturing procedures for new and existing product lines. Design a manufacturing process, including tooling, work instructions, labor standards, facility layouts, and spec out equipment. May act as lead to junior employees within the department. • Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc. • Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies. Preferred Major Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Minimum Years of Experience 3-5 years Language Skills Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations in English. Must be able to write analytical and/or technical reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and create instructional reference material. Able to speak effectively before groups, customers, employees of the organization and/or the general public. Mathematical Skills Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
