About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. In this role, you will deliver engaging and high-quality French and Spanish lessons across the primary age range, helping pupils to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. You will be responsible for planning creative lessons, assessing pupil progress, and fostering a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.
This is a part-time, 0.6FTE, fixed-term role acting as Maternity Cover. There is a proposed start date in early October 2025.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As an enthusiastic educator, you bring a deep love of languages and a clear commitment to excellence in teaching. You have experience teaching French and Spanish, ideally from Preschool to Year 6, and you use a range of behaviour management strategies to support learning. You’re confident with ICT, highly organised, and adaptable in a fast-paced school setting. Most importantly, you care deeply about pupil wellbeing and bring warmth and professionalism to everything you do.
If you are a collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and a desire to contribute to wider school life, including extracurriculars, school events, and trips, we would love to hear from you.
