Description
The successful candidate will direct and coordinate all Welfare and Self-Reliance activities and help those who are in need, willing to be worthy, and willing to work to provide for themselves and their families the temporal and spiritual necessities of life, or self-reliance. Reports to and receives strategic and operational guidance from the Area Welfare/Self-Reliance Manager. The candidate will support leaders in addressing many welfare self-reliance needs of members by traveling throughout the defined service area, developing and cultivating contacts and relationships of influence with employers, educational, self-employment and other community resources.
Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate all Welfare and Self-Reliance activities to help individuals provide for their families' temporal and spiritual needs. Develop relationships with employers and community resources while supporting leaders across the service area.
