At the NSW Department of Education, we educate and inspire lifelong learners – from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training.    Ongoing Full-Time Located in Parramatta with flexible work arrangements available   Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12 with salary ranging from $149,739 to $173,174 + super and annual leave loading     Supporting schools through strong governance, compliance and reporting About the role In this role, you will lead the development and maintenance of the department’s accounting policies, controls and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with accounting standards and NSW Treasury requirements. You will oversee the design of fit-for-purpose policies and practical guidance that enable accurate financial reporting and informed business decision-making. This includes strengthening internal controls over financial information, identifying risks and gaps, and driving continuous improvement to ensure the department remains responsive to new and evolving accounting standards and NSW Treasury policies and guidelines.
