We are seeking an innovative, strategic and change-driven HR Manager to lead our HR team at our large manufacturing site in Costa Rica. This role involves leading change management strategies to collaborate closely with plant leadership and our Corporate HR organization based in the USA to drive business success through effective HR strategies. The ideal candidate will modernize our HR practices, champion HR technology, and help achieve plant leadership goals.
Join Our Team:
We are seeking an innovative, strategic and change-driven HR Manager to lead our HR team at our large manufacturing site in Costa Rica. This role involves leading change management strategies to collaborate closely with plant leadership and our Corporate HR organization based in the USA to drive business success through effective HR strategies. The ideal candidate will modernize our HR practices, champion HR technology, and help achieve plant leadership goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement integrated HR plans that align with business objectives, translating current and future business needs into actionable strategies.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Manage a local team of HR professionals and provide change management leadership to support organizational alignment and talent requirements.
  • Talent Management: Lead talent management strategies, including performance management, succession planning, engagement, career development, and skills enhancement in collaboration with senior management.
  • HR Technology Champion: Promote the effective use of HR technology, specifically Workday, to enhance service delivery and talent solutions.
  • Employee Relations and Compliance: Address employee relations issues systematically and ensure compliance with legal requirements, partnering with the legal department as needed.
  • Business Alignment: Develop staffing and workforce plans with plant leadership, incorporating external trends and internal factors to drive business results.
  • Develop and execute strategic HR plans aligned with the plant’s operational and workforce requirements.
  • Manage and mentor a local team of HR Partners, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous learning.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to plant leadership, influencing managers and supervisors to drive and execute key strategies that enhance business competitiveness.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Strong background in change management, leading HR Strategies in manufacturing environments, HR technology, with experience in Workday preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to shape culture through leadership and drive change management initiatives.
  • 10 years of experience with a Bachelor’s or 7 years with a Master’s.
