Description
The Master Scheduling team is responsible for establishing detailed production schedules, monitoring their accuracy, and adjusting them as needed in response to operational changes. The day-to-day tasks of a Master Scheduler are highly dynamic and vary depending on industry demands, requiring a high level of precision and strategic insight. Reviewing the master schedule assigned to the Taiwan factory to ensure alignment with company objectives and production capabilities Analyzing project specifications, resource data, and production factors to develop consistent and executable schedules Collaborating with functional leaders and project managers to forecast both short-term and long-term product demand Identifying potential scheduling disruptions and developing contingency plans to minimize negative impacts on production Monitoring production status and ensuring schedule adherence, while reporting deviations and variances to senior management Maintaining comprehensive records of all scheduling activities, changes, and performance evaluations Adjusting schedules and site responsibilities in response to equipment downtime, workforce changes, customer order distribution, or shifting production priorities Training and supporting team members on best practices to promote global accountability, alignment, and standardization Strengthening cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration by leveraging diverse perspectives and encouraging open communication across the organization Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Minimum of 6 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related function within a manufacturing environment At least 3 years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage teams effectively Strong proficiency in scheduling software and tools, including Microsoft Project or similar ERP systems Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to effectively address scheduling challenges Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are highly valued Our commitment We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
