Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the daily bridge between Clearing Risk (the business) and Engineering/Architecture (the builders). UAT & Validation: Define and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Act as the final "gatekeeper" to ensure that data visualizations and risk reports meet the rigorous accuracy standards of a CCP. Dependency Coordination: Proactively manage cross-POD dependencies to ensure data flowing from upstream Risk or Trade systems is compatible with the Reporting Framework. Default Management & Risk Integration Crisis Data Visualization: Work with Risk teams to build dashboards that trigger during a default, specifically focusing on Variation Margin (VM) gains/losses and Initial Margin (IM) erosion. Auction Tooling: Oversee the development of the "Default Management Portal" used by non-defaulting members to bid on liquidated portfolios. Fire Drill Support: Ensure the reporting framework can handle the high-velocity data throughput required during mandatory industry-wide default simulations. Technical Skills & Software Requirements Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of Derivatives Pricing, VaR (Value at Risk), and the lifecycle of ETD/OTC trades. Data Stack: Required proficiency in SQL/Big Query to validate data integrity. Experience with Python or VBA for prototyping reports. Agile Ecosystem: Expert-level use of JIRA for story mapping, sprint tracking, and reporting velocity/burndown. Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with operating and querying data within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Education & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Financial Engineering, etc.); Master’s preferred.
