The group you’ll be a part of The Manufacturing Engineering team will be part of LMM Operations Team, rerporting into Global Operations. This funtion will partner with the LMM Operations team such as Manufacturing, Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Logistics in Malaysia to deliver Operations Excellence, driving high quality, productivity and cost effective performance in the safest environment. The impact you’ll make In this position, as Test Manager your will lead a team of engineers to develop, implement andmaintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts,components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. You will work across organization functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges, as well as opportunity to develop excellence in productdesign and manufacturing. Drive the planning, development, implementation and maintenance ofmanufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products. Lead the team on newtest software and fixtures deployment including defining the criteria, designs, documents, builds,calibrates, troubleshoots and meet/exceed all safety, quality, cost, efficiency and productivitydeliverables. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Drive systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products.Lead the team to resolve test issues cross functionally with Suppliers, Supplier Engineering, PilotManufacturing, and Design Engineering. The candidate will be responsible for transitioning test on new products to Manufacturing, resolving anymanufacturing floor test issue, improving product quality, and reducing the test cycle time. The candidate should have good experience at a semiconductor fab, very familiar with capital equipment andchallenges. What you’ll do In this position, you will manage of team of Test Engineers and technicians to sustain and improve Test Engineering Performance. • Develop test strategy/test plan • Implement governance and reporting processes • Implement standard processes, methodologies and tools • Ensure that the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the test strategy • Perform all test/ management activities - resource management, monitor and control, manage risks and issues, manage quality • Responsible for managing the overall testing effort and deliverables, work with testing team to ensure that testing is on time and within budget • Test planning activities and estimation, test scope definition with the use of risk based testing Who we’re looking for BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering and >10 years of experience in the following areas: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for purposes of teaching, investigating, andinfl uencing team members and stakeholders up to and including internal and external executives Excellent knowledge in Etch and Semiconductor capital equipment. PCBA and component life cyclemanagement: Specifi cation, Manufacture, Assembly, Test/Inspection, and Sustaining Experience in Test Engineering/Development environment with in-depth knowledge of C#, Python orother scripting languages. Working knowledge of Statistical analysis, DOE, GR&R (MSA), 5-Why, 6S/7W, t/F tests, box plot and 8D Working knowledge of electrical & mfg standards (Semi S2, OSHA, ISO9000/14000, RoHS, UL, IEEE,MIL, IPC 610/620) Semiconductor equipment system and component knowledge PCBA manufacturing, inspection, andtest processes Working knowledge in developing and maintaining Test fixturing. Deep knowledge and experience in new product transfer methodologies and program Preferred qualifications Experience with vacuum, pressure control, Temperature Control, RF and gas delivery systems Works cross functionally with design engineering and the pilot group for new product development. Has a working knowledge of SAP functions for manufacturing. Experience in Forecasting, Raise and Manage Capital, Operational Expenditure cost to meet FactoryOperational Excellence on target.
