We are now looking for a MHE Operative for our Lillyhall site on a Full time and permanent contract. Job Description Shift Pattern: 4ON 4OFF Rotating (4 working days, 4 days off and then 4 Nights) Salary: £13.48 per hour. Your main job duties will include but will not be limited to the following; Working in collaboration with the shift Team Leader and site management. Completing all tasks to a high standard, swiftly and safely To ensure the smooth running of the site by completing all tasks swiftly and safely in the warehouse. You will be responsible for loading / unloading wagons or containers. Scanning all pallets into correct locations and completing all jobs 100% Work to a high standard to ensure all pallets are delivered in a good condition Manage your time effectively so ensure all tasks are completed. Maintain equipment and report any faults or issues immediately Follow all site safe systems of work Assist team leaders or management team if needed. Ensure that there is a full handover to the following shift and site management. Encourage awareness off the site rules including, use of walkways, use of designated smoking, eating and mobile phone areas and the correct way of wearing PPE. Qualifications FLT Counterbalance Licence/experience is essential (In house or Expired Licences will be considered) Able to work to targets within a fast pace environment Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning Conscientious and reliable nature Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns Should have good oral and written communication skills Additional Information As part of our drive to make Great Bear a great place to work, we are proud to be an inclusive and diverse organisation where we are committed to employee development and recognising success for hard working performers. Responsibilities
