Description
* Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment. * Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. * On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment. * Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards. * Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. * Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas. * Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped. * Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers. * Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances. * Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. * Assist in physical inventories. * Ensure proper stock rotation. * Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely. * Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance. * Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process. * Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team. * Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. * Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. * Other duties as assign     Location: Kenosha, WI Work Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday: 7:00 am – 5:30pm Salary: 21.00 + 1.50 Shift Differential Qualifications * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments. * Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.). * Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
