Project Overview: The project “Providing Integrated Protection and Education Support for Boys and Girls Affected by Conflict in Southern Yemen” aims to improve the well-being of children affected by conflict and to enhance their access to safe and quality protection and education services. The project is funded by the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid (ECHO) and will be implemented from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2027 in Aden, Lahj, and Taiz governorates. The project targets 22,216 beneficiaries of boys, girls, women, and men (11,426 females and 10,790 males), and focuses on providing Child Protection and Education in Emergencies services through comprehensive programs designed to reduce the risks faced by children and enhance their access to safe and inclusive education. The project also aims to empower local communities and strengthen their capacity to protect children and respond to their basic needs in a safer and more stable environment. نبذة عامة عن المشروع: يهدف مشروع توفير الدعم المتكامل في مجال الحماية والتعليم للفتيان والفتيات المتضررين من النزاع في جنوب اليمن إلى تحسين رفاه الأطفال المتأثرين بالنزاع وتعزيز فرص حصولهم على الحماية والتعليم الآمن والجيد. ويأتي هذا المشروع بدعم من المديرية العامة للمساعدات الإنسانية والحماية المدنية التابعة للمفوضية الأوروبية (ECHO)، ويُنفذ المشروع خلال الفترة من 1 يوليو 2025 حتى 30 يونيو 2027 في محافظات عدن، لحج، وتعز. يستهدف المشروع 22,216 مستفيدًا من الفتيان والفتيات والنساء والرجال (11,426 إناث و10,790 ذكور)، ويُركّز على توفير خدمات حماية الطفل والتعليم في حالات الطوارئ، من خلال برامج شاملة تهدف إلى الحد من المخاطر التي يتعرض لها الأطفال وتعزيز وصولهم إلى التعليم الآمن والدامج. كما يسعى المشروع إلى تمكين المجتمعات المحلية ودعم قدراتها على حماية الأطفال والاستجابة لاحتياجاتهم الأساسية في بيئة أكثر أمانًا واستقرارً Job Purpose The MHPSS Facilitator operates as part of the Child Protection team at Save the Children to ensure a comprehensive psychosocial response for children (migrants, IDPs, residents, and children with disabilities) and their caregivers, in line with Save the Children standards and IASC MHPSS guidelines. The role focuses on planning and implementing community-based psychosocial activities, providing Psychological First Aid (PFA), and supporting children’s resilience and coping capacities, while ensuring that all interventions are delivered in the best interests of the child and in a safe, dignified, and inclusive manner. يعمل ميسر/ة الصحة النفسية والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي ضمن فريق حماية الطفل في منظمة إنقاذ الطفل لضمان تقديم استجابة شاملة في مجال الصحة النفسية والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي للأطفال (المهاجرين، النازحين، المقيمين، والأطفال ذوي الإعاقة) ومقدمي الرعاية لهم، بما يتماشى مع معايير المنظمة وتوجيهات اللجنة الدائمة المشتركة بين الوكالات (IASC). يركز الدور على تخطيط وتنفيذ أنشطة الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي القائمة على المجتمع، وتقديم الإسعافات الأولية النفسية، وتعزيز قدرة الأطفال على الصمود والتكيف، مع ضمان أن تُنفذ جميع التدخلات بما يخدم مصلحة الطفل الفضلى وفي بيئة آمنة وكريمة وشاملة. * Reports to: MHPSS Officer / Child Protection Officer خط الإشراف : ضابط الصحة النفسية و الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي Key Areas of Accountability \ المجالات الرئيسية للمساءلة * Build and maintain strong partnerships with children, caregivers, community leaders, and Save the Children staff to promote accessible and high-quality MHPSS services. * Participate in coordination meetings and support community-based identification and referral of children in need of psychosocial support. * Coordinate the implementation of PSS activities with Save the Children partners, ensuring adherence to approved standards related to confidentiality, safety, quality, and inclusion. * Uphold and promote Save the Children’s Code of Conduct and Child Safeguarding Policy inside and outside the workplace. * Ensure full compliance with Save the Children’s Safeguarding Policy and “Do No Harm” principles, maintaining the safety, dignity, and well-being of all children and community members at all times. * بناء والحفاظ على شراكات فعّالة مع الأطفال ومقدمي الرعاية وقادة المجتمع وموظفي منظمة إنقاذ الطفل، بهدف تعزيز الوصول إلى خدمات الصحة النفسية والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي ذات الجودة. * المشاركة في اجتماعات التنسيق ودعم عمليات التحديد والإحالة المجتمعية للأطفال المحتاجين إلى الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي. * تنسيق تنفيذ أنشطة الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي مع شركاء منظمة إنقاذ الطفل، مع ضمان الالتزام بالمعايير المعتمدة المتعلقة بالسرية والسلامة والجودة والشمول. * الالتزام وتعزيز مدونة قواعد السلوك وسياسة صون الطفل الخاصة بمنظمة إنقاذ الطفل داخل وخارج مكان العمل. * الالتزام الكامل بسياسة الصون ومبادئ “عدم إلحاق الضرر” الخاصة بمنظمة إنقاذ الطفل، مع ضمان سلامة وكرامة ورفاه جميع الأطفال وأفراد المجتمع في جميع الأوقات. Main Duties and Responsibilities \ المهام والمسؤوليات الأساسية * Identify vulnerable children in need of MHPSS support, conduct initial psychosocial assessments, and determine appropriate levels of intervention. * Plan and facilitate structured psychosocial support (PSS) sessions for children and adolescents, focusing on resilience, emotional regulation, and coping skills. * Facilitate group sessions for caregivers to enhance their psychosocial well-being and promote positive parenting practices. * Provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) to children and families affected by crises and ensure safe, timely, and confidential referrals for cases requiring specialized mental health care. * Coordinate closely with Case Management teams to ensure a holistic and child-centered response for high-risk cases. * Ensure high-quality and confidential documentation of all PSS activities, attendance records, and pre-/post-assessments. * Promote meaningful child participation by empowering children to express their views and contribute to the design and evaluation of PSS activities. * Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and interim narrative and statistical reports related to MHPSS activities. * Contribute to community awareness and stigma-reduction campaigns related to mental health and psychosocial well-being. * Conduct mobile fieldwork and regular visits to camps, centers, and migrant accommodation sites. * Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. * تحديد الأطفال المستضعفين المحتاجين إلى دعم نفسي اجتماعي، وإجراء التقييمات النفسية الاجتماعية الأولية وتحديد مستويات التدخل المناسبة. * تخطيط وتيسير جلسات دعم نفسي اجتماعي منظمة للأطفال واليافعين تركز على بناء القدرة على الصمود والتنظيم العاطفي ومهارات التكيف. * تيسير جلسات جماعية لمقدمي الرعاية لتعزيز رفاههم النفسي وتشجيع ممارسات الوالدية الإيجابية. * تقديم الإسعافات الأولية النفسية للأطفال والأسر المتأثرة بالأزمات، وضمان الإحالة الآمنة والسريعة والسرية للحالات التي تتطلب رعاية نفسية متخصصة. * التنسيق الوثيق مع فرق إدارة الحالة لضمان استجابة شمولية ومتمحورة حول الطفل للحالات عالية الخطورة. * ضمان توثيق عالي الجودة وسري لجميع أنشطة الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي، بما في ذلك سجلات الحضور والتقييمات القبلية والبعدية. * تعزيز المشاركة الفاعلة للأطفال من خلال تمكينهم من التعبير عن آرائهم والمساهمة في تصميم وتقييم أنشطة الدعم النفسي. * إعداد وتقديم تقارير أسبوعية وشهرية ومرحلية (سردية وإحصائية) تتعلق بأنشطة الصحة النفسية والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي. * المساهمة في حملات التوعية المجتمعية والحد من الوصمة المرتبطة بالصحة النفسية. * تنفيذ العمل الميداني المتنقل وإجراء زيارات منتظمة للمخيمات والمراكز ومواقع سكن المهاجرين. * تنفيذ أي مهام أخرى يكلفه/تكلفه بها المشرف المباشر. Qualifications and Experience \ المؤهلات والخبرة المطلوبة * Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related social science field. * Minimum of two years of experience in MHPSS or Child Protection programming, preferably with migrant, refugee, or displaced children. * Strong knowledge of IASC MHPSS Guidelines, Psychological First Aid (PFA), “Do No Harm,” and Best Interests of the Child principles. * Experience facilitating structured psychosocial support programs (e.g., HEART, DEALs). * Good understanding of the challenges faced by IDPs and migrants in the Yemeni context. * Familiarity with Ethiopian and Somali community customs and social dynamics. * Strong communication, group facilitation, observation, and reporting skills. * Proficiency in Arabic; knowledge of Oromo and Amharic is an asset. English proficiency is an advantage. * درجة البكالوريوس في علم النفس، الخدمة الاجتماعية، أو أحد مجالات العلوم الاجتماعية ذات الصلة. * خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في مجال الصحة النفسية والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي أو حماية الطفل، ويفضل مع الأطفال المهاجرين أو اللاجئين أو النازحين. * معرفة قوية بتوجيهات الصحة النفسية والدعم النفسي الاجتماعي الصادرة عن IASC، والإسعافات الأولية النفسية، ومبادئ عدم إلحاق الضرر ومصلحة الطفل الفضلى. * خبرة في تيسير برامج الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي المنظمة مثل HEART * فهم جيد للتحديات التي يواجهها النازحون والمهاجرون في السياق اليمني. * الإلمام بالعادات والسلوكيات الاجتماعية للمجتمعات الإثيوبية والصومالية. * مهارات قوية في التواصل، وتيسير المجموعات، والملاحظة، وإعداد التقارير. * إجادة اللغة العربية، ومعرفة لغات المجتمعات المهاجرة (الأورومو والأمهرية). إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية تعتبر ميزة إضافية.
