Description
A MHT at NEC Cares provides face to face crisis support and assistance through strength based, unbiased crisis support to individuals that seek services at the Community Health and Outreach Center. MHT will conduct basic health screening and assessment to identify immediate and secondary needs of the individual. Assistance with stabilization, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, and the development of community living skills. MHT works collaboratively with law enforcement and mobile crisis units. Education:   High school diploma, with two years' experience in the social service or healthcare related field Experience:  Two years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs preferred Licenses:  Must possess a valid state issued driver's license. Evening shift: 36 hrs./wk. 3days/wk., alternating weekends. 7p-7a . Salary based on experience. Excellent benefits. EOE
