Their main responsibilities will include: * Identify training needs and strategies based on improvements in health and safety and underground equipment or vehicle techniques. * Develop training plans in accordance with the standards and specifications of various underground equipment and vehicles. * Contribute to the creation of training materials (technical documentation, audio-visual aids, etc.) and define the didactic means and tools necessary for training. * Participate in the individual employee development plan. * Ensure the smooth implementation of technical training on underground mining equipment. * Collaborate in drafting internal policies and procedures related to your field of activity, specifically regarding the Nordic Road code and the use of heavy equipment and service vehicles. * Collaborate with other departments in the implementation and/or maintenance of various underground training projects. * Provide training to employees and contractors based at the site. * Generate the required reports and statistics for the training department.   What we are looking for * DEC or DEP in mineral extraction or any other equivalent education with relevant experience. * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a trainer in an underground mining operation. * Possession of modular mining worker training. * Hold a valid driver's license and explosive license. * Excellent proficiency in various MS Office software and other training platforms. * Possess mining modules FMTM 1 to 5 & 7 Assets  * Accreditation as a trainer for mining modules (a significant asset). * Profound knowledge of various equipment, including Jumbo, bolter, scoop, scissors, anfo truck, etc. * Experience working with Inuit communities. * Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written).
