MICROBIOLOGY ANALYST

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the development of different kinds of high-level technical documents according to laboratory activities and needs.
  • Support statistical analysis of laboratory data.
  • Support transfer and new processes related to Microbiology Laboratory.
  • Responsible for report of results, data entry and reliability of the daily analyses and results according to internal procedures.
  • Responsible of calibration and maintenance programs for the microbiology laboratory equipment.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and order of the work area.
  • Responsible to perform all activities according to GLP, biosafety guidelines, HSE guidelines, internal procedures and others related.
  • Capable of laboratory teamwork and time management.
  • Responsible of continuous improvement of laboratories local procedures and capable to identify out of specification, out of trends results and generate the documentation according to internal procedures.
  • Responsible to support CAPA investigation and root cause analysis, responsible of the workstation inventory.
  • Responsible to coordinate activities with stakeholder as waste management, cleaning department and other.
  • Perform routine microbiological sampling across cleanrooms and different classified areas of the site as sampling technician backup.
  • Perform routine microbiological tests (aseptic filtration, identification, culture methods, and others).
  • Support glassware and material cleaning and sterilization for laboratory purposes.
  • Support equipment and computerized system validation.
  • Perform testing of bioburden, and analysis (water, compressed air), endotoxin test, among others as needed.
  • Support of inventory management and storage of microbiological accessories, reagents and others, including the quality control processes associated.
  • Any other duties can be delegated once training is provided.
