TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Able to demonstrate good time management and self-organisation, prioritising calmly and efficiently and working methodically and purposefully to ensure key processes are adhered to and tasks are completed in accordance with SOPs
  • Possesses a good understanding of the principles of aseptic testing and willing to commit to developing one’s expertise in this area
  • Comfortable with documentation and the recording of deviations, etc. with a willingness to contribute to the creation of SOPs, etc.
  • Good safety awareness
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity, committed to upholding ALCOA+ principles and able articulate issues or delays to manager in a clear manner
  • Computer literate with proficiency in the MS Office suite and - ideally - competent in the use of relevant proprietary systems and software.
  • Able to build and maintain an up-to-date awareness of relevant trends, tools, technology, techniques and processes

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Microbiology, Chemistry, etc.)
  • Practical laboratory experience or relevant experience in pharmaceutical microbiology.
  • Previous experience working in a GxP environment with a good understanding of relevant regulations and requirements is desirable
  • Fluent English
