Join Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories PSS, where your expertise will directly support aseptic manufacturing and environmental monitoring at a cutting-edge pharmaceutical facility. What You’ll Do As the Microbiology Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of quality control, guiding a team and overseeing critical microbiological testing in a GMP-regulated cleanroom environment. Your leadership will help ensure that every product meets the highest standards of safety and compliance. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading environmental monitoring during aseptic operations and media fills using: Non-viable particle counters Contact plates Microbial air samplers Overseeing utility sampling (WFI, purified water, compressed gases) with validated methods Reviewing and interpreting microbial data with precision and integrity Ensuring accurate documentation in electronic systems Escalating deviations or equipment issues promptly Maintaining a clean, compliant, and audit-ready lab environment Mentoring and supporting junior team members Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field 3+ years of hands-on experience in a GMP/GLP pharmaceutical setting Strong aseptic technique and cleanroom experience Proven leadership or supervisory background Detail-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills Additional Information Why Join Eurofins PSS?
