Role Overview This position requires the Microbiology Technician to support laboratory and environmental monitoring services, including sample handling, incubation, testing, reporting, and compliance-based documentation. Key Responsibilities Perform environmental monitoring of classified areas, including receipt of samples, incubation, reading of results, reporting, and data approval Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all systems are operating properly Carry out daily lab activities to maintain quality, efficiency, and turnaround time Perform technical testing, record results, analyze data, and interpret findings Identify microorganisms found in samples of liquids and other substances Document work accurately, clearly, and in compliance with client and regulatory requirements Perform material QC and growth support testing Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills while efficiently moving between task types Show initiative, organization, and a continuous improvement mindset by identifying and pitching process enhancements Follow Quantus SOPs, customer procedures, and industry best practices Build strong customer relationships by offering support beyond daily task assignments and leveraging Quantus’s knowledge base to strengthen customer environmental monitoring programs Requirements Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline Computer literacy, including MacOS, Microsoft Office, email, and ability to learn custom database/software applications At least 1 year of related experience in the Life Sciences services industry, a related field, or equivalent education Experience working within GMP/GDP environments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions (bending, kneeling, sitting, standing) Valid driver’s license Travel required: local Must be able to pass a drug and background check Location: Blue Bell, PA
