Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator & Migration Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and support of our Microsoft 365 (M365) environment, with a strong focus on account migration from Google Workspace to M365. This position requires availability for evening shifts to support migration activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute user account migrations from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolution of migration-related issues.
  • Administer and maintain the M365 tenant, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other services.
  • Monitor system performance, health, and capacity to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Deliver Tier 2/3 support for M365-related incidents, collaborating with IT support teams.
  • Liaise with Microsoft Support and third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions in alignment with company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and IT projects.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in M365 administration or similar IT roles.
  • Strong expertise in M365 hybrid environments, including Exchange Online and on-prem, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, AD Connect, and Entra ID.
  • Experience with migration tools (e.g., BitTitan) and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira) is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are a plus.
  • Strong technical writing skills for documenting processes and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
