Vamonos IT is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Microsoft 365 Administrator to join our dynamic team. The Microsoft 365 Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and optimization of our clients’ Microsoft 365 environments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments in a business setting.
  • Strong understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 admin centers.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation for Microsoft 365 tasks.
  • Experience with identity management (Azure Active Directory), security policies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot hybrid environments and integrations with on-premises systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and technical support.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or similar certification.
  • Experience in administering Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Azure services.
  • Background in migration projects (e.g., on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online, Google Workspace to Microsoft 365).
  • Experience in developing and delivering technical training.
Responsibilities
  • Administration and Management: Oversee and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related services.
  • User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless access to Microsoft 365 tools and resources.
  • Configuration: Configure, customize, and optimize Microsoft 365 applications to align with organizational needs and best practices.
  • Security: Implement and monitor security protocols, including MFA, conditional access, data loss prevention, and identity protection.
  • Licensing: Manage licensing, subscriptions, and service plans, ensuring compliance and cost optimization.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation relating to system configurations, changes, incidents, and procedures.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions and develop user guides to empower staff and clients in making full use of Microsoft 365 capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and support organizational goals.
  • Monitoring: Use Microsoft 365 admin centers and third-party tools to monitor system health, performance, and usage.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to service disruptions, incidents, and security breaches, employing best practices for mitigation and resolution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about new features, trends, and updates in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem; recommend and implement enhancements to improve user experience and security.
  • Support internal Vamonos IT initiatives and operations as needed.
  • Support the Vamonos IT business development initiatives and team.
  • Engage/complete continuing education/certification processes as prescribed by customer and/or Vamonos IT.
