OVERVIEW

Toll International is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time consulting assignment with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s Engineering Department. The selected professional must have expertise as a Microsoft 365 Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain innovative solutions using Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and other Microsoft 365 tools. This role involves architecting new applications, optimizing existing workflows, and collaborating closely with end users and business analysts to deliver high-impact solutions.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience with SharePoint Online architecture, development, and site administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Microsoft 365 and Power Platforms (Power Automate and Power Apps) architecture and development.
  • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint development tools, including SharePoint Framework (SPFX) and PowerShell.
  • Good knowledge of .Net programming and SQL server.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

REQUIRED SOFT SKILLS

  • Self-motivated, capable of prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Infowise Ultimate Forms and Plumsail Documents.

We are looking for an Application Developer with experience in Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. This position requires an independent worker who needs very little supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architect, design, and develop new applications and workflows using Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages), and other Microsoft 365 products.
  • Propose suitable platforms and technical approaches based on business requirements, and provide workaround solutions when necessary.
  • Administer, support, and enhance existing team sites, applications, and workflows in SharePoint Online and Power Platforms.
  • Design and implement customized web parts for SharePoint Online using SharePoint Framework (SPFX).
  • Design, develop, and support SharePoint Forms/Workflows using third-party tools like Infowise Ultimate Forms and Plumsail Documents.
  • Develop and support .Net console applications that integrate data between SharePoint Online and SQL databases.
  • Design, develop, and support SQL tables, views, and stored procedures.
  • Design, develop, and support desktop and mobile apps using the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Draft and maintain technical documentation and support manuals.
  • Provide general Engineering help desk support as part of the Apps Support Team.
