Description

A global professional services organisation is looking for an experienced M365 Lead/Manager to take ownership of its enterprise collaboration and productivity suite. This is a pivotal role within the Digital Services team, providing hands-on leadership in managing and evolving Microsoft 365 applications, associated tools, and integrations across a large-scale, complex environment.
The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and experience delivering modern workplace solutions in a demanding, fast-paced setting.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated experience in a third-line technical support or engineering role focused on Microsoft 365 services.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform administration and deployment.
  • Proven success in delivering global solutions and providing technical leadership on enterprise-level projects.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools, digital document platforms, and web add-ins.
  • Strong understanding of Windows environments, Active Directory, and cloud-based identity management.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Office add-in deployments.
  • Experience within a complex, fast-paced professional or regulated environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for all aspects of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Office apps, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and M365 administration tools.
  • Oversee the configuration, deployment, patching, and maintenance of productivity tools and associated third-party integrations (e.g., PDF and template software, document editing add-ins).
  • Lead a small, specialist support team focused on delivering third-line support and driving continuous service improvement.
  • Manage global rollouts of new M365 features and services, including pilot testing, stakeholder engagement, training, and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support for enterprise initiatives involving collaboration tools and digital workspace optimisation.
  • Collaborate with IT operations, security, and architecture teams to align services with enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance internal documentation, operational playbooks, and configuration standards.
  • Champion a service-focused culture with an emphasis on usability, resilience, and proactive support.
  • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives through digital efficiency and resource-conscious solution design.
