Description

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 / SharePoint & Web Solutions Specialist to join our team in support of the U.S. Coast Guard. This is a full-time, on-site position in Washington, DC, providing high-impact support for enterprise collaboration, SharePoint development, and web solutions.
You will play a key role in building and maintaining SharePoint Online and web-based applications, supporting the Coast Guard’s Learning & Media Services mission.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions (SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Teams).
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, and JSON customization.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerApps, Power Automate, and modern collaboration solutions.
  • Experience ensuring web accessibility (Section 508, WCAG 2.x).
  • Familiarity with federal IT environments preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder).

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, web applications, and dynamic dashboards.
  • Implement workflows, business process automation, and custom apps using Power Automate and PowerApps.
  • Develop and customize solutions using HTML, ASP.NET, CSS, JSON, and related web technologies.
  • Ensure Section 508 accessibility, usability, and compliance for all web and SharePoint deliverables.
  • Provide technical support for content updates, link validation, and documentation archiving.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (requirements, design, dev, testing, UAT, production).
  • Support classroom hardware, multimedia integration, and end-user training when required.
  • Collaborate with federal stakeholders to deliver secure, user-friendly solutions.
