ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Microsoft AI Chatbot Developer for a contract position with NCDIT-T Web Systems, supporting the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). This role involves designing and building intelligent conversational agents using Copilot Studio and the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Azure.
The developer will create sophisticated chatbots that integrate Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 services, and external systems to improve productivity for NCDOT users and customers.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, build, and deploy chatbots using Copilot Studio and the Power Platform.
• Develop complex dialog flows with branching logic and natural language processing.
• Integrate chatbots with external APIs, databases, and third-party services via Power Automate and custom connectors.
• Configure governance, security, and deployment strategies for Power Platform environments.
• Utilize Azure AI services for advanced chatbot capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues.
• Deploy and manage solutions using Azure DevOps and follow best practices.
