Job Title & Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Cloud Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and efficiency of resources in our Microsoft cloud tenant, supporting our users, and driving the adoption of Microsoft cloud services across the organization. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Skills Required: • Administration and maintenance of Microsoft Azure virtual hardware (remote desktop clusters, dedicated servers, VPN Gateways, Firewalls, etc.) • Utilization of Microsoft Intune to manage endpoint devices running all major Operating Systems, including but not limited to: Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android • Administration of the combined Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, with emphasis on managing update rings for Microsoft Applications and Operating Systems. • Experience with identity and access management, especially with regard to Microsoft Entra ID and the philosophy of least privilege • Understanding of cloud security, remote access, and compliance frameworks • Experience with PowerShell scripting across the Microsoft ecosystem, with particular emphasis on automation, compliance, policy, and reporting use cases • Excellent communication and documentation skills, prioritizing attention to detail with an ability to summarize complex requirements for a non-technical audience. Key Behaviors: • Serve as primary administrator and subject matter expert for all aspects of cloud-based Microsoft infrastructure • Maintain clear documentation of architecture, configuration, policy, and procedure • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align cloud services with organizational needs • Stay current with Microsoft cloud updates, emerging technologies, and best practices • Provide proactive solutions to ensure optimal service delivery • Assist with ongoing monitoring of environmental perimeter and cost fluctuation Competencies: • Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert) • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience • Excellent technical troubleshooting and resolution, demonstrating problem-solving and analytical thinking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Strategic alignment of IT services with business goals • Demonstrate initiative and self-direction, mastering effective time management and prioritization while emphasizing continuous learning and professional development Upward Health is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
