Description
Messaging Administration & Support Administer and maintain Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments. Manage mail flow, connectors, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and transport rules. Provide Tier 2/3 support for messaging-related incidents and service requests. Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity. Apply and maintain Microsoft Defender for Office 365 policies (anti-spam, anti-phishing, malware). Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP), retention policies, and eDiscovery. Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Assist with migrations, upgrades, and integrations with third-party messaging/security tools. Create, modify, and deprovision user accounts, mailboxes, and groups. Manage O365 licenses related to messaging services. Provide end-user support and training for messaging features. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience administering Exchange Online and/or Exchange Server. Proficiency in Exchange Online administration and hybrid configurations. Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation. Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Azure AD, and Intune. Experience with email security gateways is a plus. Soft Skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Clear communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
