The Practice Lead for Microsoft Platforms is responsible for leading the delivery excellence and commercial performance of Microsoft-based solutions across our organisation. This includes platforms such as Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and collaboration with other Department Practice Leads in the areas of Azure, PaaS solutions and Business Central / ERP. This go-to-market role combines technical leadership with outward-facing responsibilities, including pre-sales support, client engagement, and ownership of departmental output targets. Role responsibilities: Own and deliver against the department’s output targets with department team. Support department’s sales target via collaboration with business development team. Collaborate with both business development and sales teams to shape proposals and respond to RFPs. Lead solution design and technical input during pre-sales engagements, supporting existing business development pre-sales. Represent our Microsoft practice in client meetings, pitches, and industry events. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, Microsoft, and other strategic partners. Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts. Ensure client satisfaction and long-term value through high-impact solution delivery. Support the Operations Director to drive the Microsoft platforms strategy in alignment with organisational goals. Ensure technical governance, security, and compliance across all Microsoft technologies. Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex technical issues from within the department’s teams and projects. Mentor and develop internal talent within our Microsoft practice and work alongside the Operations Director on performance reviews. Promote continuous learning and Microsoft certification across the team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Proven experience leading Microsoft platform implementations (e.g. M365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365). Strong commercial acumen with experience in pre-sales and client-facing roles. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed delivery targets in a technical leadership role. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Microsoft certifications (e.g. Power Platform / Dynamics 365 Certifications, Power Platform Expert) are highly desirable. Desirable Experience: Exposure to and knowledge of Microsoft Azure and PaaS options and how it can be utilised with Power Platform to deliver customer solutions to business challenges.
