JOB OVERVIEW:

We’re seeking a versatile, experienced technical professional to manage and modernize our Microsoft infrastructure and help our clients do the same. The right candidate will be comfortable leading projects like migrating to Microsoft Entra, optimizing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, and solving complex technical issues across a variety of systems for both internal team members and Clients. This role is an ideal fit for someone who has deep technical expertise combined with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
  • Azure administration
  • Intune
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Certifications Preferred.
  • 4+ years IT experience
  • Proven track record of leading infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Positive, collaborative, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Expertise in the telecommunication industry is a plu

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Microsoft Infrastructure

  • Overhaul and manage Microsoft environments, including migration to Microsoft Entra, for both SmartChoice and Enterprise Clients.
  • Maintain and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra, Intune, and Active Directory.
  • Implement security best practices and improve efficiency through automation.
  • Implement and manage SMS integration for Microsoft Teams - manage current Yakchat White label program.

Security and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with the CTO and CISO to develop and implement robust Group Policies and Security Policies.
  • Plan and execute regular backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity testing.
  • Conduct system health monitoring, performance optimization, and regular security audits.
  • Manage Active Directory environments, ensuring optimal group policy implementation.

Client Projects

  • Assess client Microsoft environments and lead modernization projects.
  • Provide ongoing support for Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and related technologies.
  • Advise clients on best practices for security, identity management, and infrastructure.

General Higher-Level Technical Work

  • Tackle escalated technical issues that require advanced problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Stay informed on Microsoft product updates and industry trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
