POSITION OVERVIEW

The Mid Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for selling Trend Micro products and services in assigned Territories to mid-size organisations. You will be responsible for generating revenue directly through outbound calling to new or prospective customers, through selling new or additional Trend Micro products to existing customers, and indirectly through our extensive network of channel partners. Trend Micro Australia supports a highly collaborative and collective learning work culture. This role requires a lot of cross-function collaboration – working closely with Customer Success, Channel & Alliances, and Sales Engineering teams.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must have a proven track record in an outbound sales role in a B2B environment.
  • Fluent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • The ability to listen to customers, understand their needs, and ask clarifying/probing questions to bring the conversation forward
  • The ability to translate complex technology into easy-to-understand business language
  • The ability to handle objections and find the opportunities in rejections
  • Persistence and proactivity in following up with customers
  • Time management skills juggling multiple customer conversations
  • Understanding of cloud computing and the cloud industry
  • Working knowledge of salesforce.com and the discipline to track all leads in the system

Responsibilities
  • Develop Trend Micro business within an assigned quota-bearing territory with emphasis on revenue generation to new organizations and on new sales to existing Trend Micro customers.
  • Researching companies for cloud security & enterprise cybersecurity opportunities
  • Tele-profiling existing leads and contacts and understanding customers’ pain points and requirements for cloud security solutions
  • Converting these leads into opportunities and driving them to closure independently
  • Through nurture efforts, creating higher value leads resulting in higher conversion rates
  • You will have full control over the accounts you’re assigned to and hone your sales skills
