Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled Mid Java Developer (Full Stack) to support a federal client in delivering secure and scalable web and backend solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Building and maintaining web and backend application/services for a federal IT program using Java/Spring-based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment.
Developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java.
Conducting detailed design reviews and providing leadership to development efforts.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience, including at least 3+ years of Java/Spring development experience
• 3+ years developing enterprise solutions using the Java Spring framework
• Detailed understanding of database schema design/SQL
• Thorough understanding and experience in Agile Scrum methodologies
• 3+ years of experience using Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
• Experience leading a team of developers for a large-scale Federal IT program
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active Secret Level Security Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of Entrust Toolkit for Java
• Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program
• 3 years of experience in developing using Agile Scrum methodologies

As a Mid Java Developer (Full Stack), you will:

• Develop enterprise solutions using the Java Spring framework
• Design database schemas and implement SQL solutions
• Lead and mentor development team members on project tasks
• Work collaboratively in Agile Scrum teams to deliver mission-critical applications
• Ensure compliance with system security and federal requirements
