BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Assistant Special Security Representative to support operations OCONUS, from an OCONUS Location.

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

• At least four years of experience in compartmented programs in DoD/IC
• Associates Degree OR four additional years DoD experience with strong job-related experience and special skills
• Special skills or qualifications (all required) –
• Ability to work with customers and provide special security support
• Solid and varied experience in planning/accrediting facilities IAW DCID 1/12 standard
• Thorough familiarity with all security clearance processes
• Working knowledge of AR 25-50
• Working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include NISPOM, NISPOM supplement, DCIDS, DoD and DIA M-1 Manual
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two to four years’ experience in security training or security inspections
• Deployed experience in Iraq or Afghanistan preferred
• CDSE Certificate in Security, (Generalist)

• This role will include, but is not limited to, personnel security management including the adjudication of clearances for contract personnel, clearance applications, etc.; as well as the security policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and DoD 5220.22-M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
• Ensuring proper level of security clearance is held by contractors for the SCIF(s) and/or technology they utilize in their role.
