Job Description We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. As a key member of our engineering department, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of various infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Develop and review civil engineering designs for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and water systems Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and project feasibility Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering components into larger projects Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and construction documents Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any engineering challenges Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on project-related issues Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards Utilize advanced engineering software to create accurate models and simulations Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution 3-8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure design and construction Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant structural analysis software Strong knowledge of project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated experience with local building codes and regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Additional Information Proposed Salary: $85 - 125k annual Other compensation: opportunities for annual increase and bonus, and other types of bonuses Sheladia provides employees the opportunity to work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment with exposure to and collaboration with multiple disciplines on a variety of projects.
