The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Cloud DevOps Developer to join the team in Tukwila, WA or Hazelwood, MO.
This individual will join the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Classified Cloud Platform team and play a pivotal role in enabling Classified Cloud Platforms at Boeing, ensuring that our systems meet the highest security standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure cloud platform, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Bicep or ARM)
  • 3+ years of experience with Policy As Code (Azure Policy, OPA/Gatekeeper, Rego, or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of experience developing Python and Ansible scripts for automation
  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Active CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • 3+ years of experience working in classified environments
  • 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • 3+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps, Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or related
  • 3+ years of experience working with Security frameworks and standards (National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cyber Security Framework, Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top 10, Risk Management Framework)
  • 3+ years of experience with Static Application Security Testing (SAST)/Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)/Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools and automated remediation in pipelines
  • 3+ years of experience of relevant DevOps/Cloud/Security Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure (Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Identify and Access Management (IAM), networking, logging)
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows Administration
  • 2+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure, software, and components in Azure Cloud, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Cloud Architects, and Cybersecurity compliance teams
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
  • Implement and operationalize Policy-as-Code using tools such as Azure Policy, OPA/Gatekeeper, and Rego
  • Support the alignment of use cases and objectives with architectural standards and security requirements, collaborating with team members to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Execute against defined guidelines and best practices for cloud-oriented development & implementations, including requirements in support of Risk Management Framework
  • Assist in the research and analysis of issues related to application integration and performance, providing actionable recommendations and supporting the resolution process as needed
