Boeing’s Safety and Airworthiness organization is actively seeking a Mid-Level Data Science Engineer to join their Regulatory Administration and Airworthiness (RA&A) Team based in Everett, WA. In this role, you will be a valued member of the Regulatory Administration - System Oversight Team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Science Engineer or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R and Java
  • Experience with SQL and Data Warehousing
  • Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow)
  • Experience with cloud technologies, including knowledge of Cloud Foundry and its deployment processes
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance best practices
  • Experience in business intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and practices
  • Experience with Flask, Django, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML
  • Familiarity with machine learning/AI concepts and tools
  • Knowledge of text analysis
