About the Job: About the Role: First Option Engineering Services Company has 10 years of expertise and prequalification in the field of Building Information Modeling BIM. First Option Engineering Services is specialized in providing a range of services. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated General Accountant to join our team in Nasr City. The ideal candidate should have no less than 5–7 years of accounting experience, solid knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo). Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and monthly reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Perform month-end and year-end close processes. Maintain supporting documentation for all financial transactions and statements. Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and bank reconciliations. Assist with internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and tax laws. Prepare VAT, tax filings, and other statutory financial submissions. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting issues. Utilize Odoo ERP (or similar ERP systems) for accounting, reporting, and transaction management. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. no less than 5–7 years of relevant general accounting experience. Proficiency in Odoo ERP or similar ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Familiarity with multi-currency and multi-entity accounting Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Strong organizational and time management skills.. Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
