Introduction and Company Culture
Life at Mando Group Ltd is fast-paced, and we have high expectations of each other. We are passionate about the digital solutions we’re working on and take our responsibilities to our customers seriously. Our culture is built on collaboration, communication, support, and continuous learning, creating a positive environment for everyone to thrive.
Our internal values—growth-minded, accountable, and passionate—define how we work and deliver high-quality solutions. They guide our development processes and ensure we continue improving our skills and achieve our business goals.
Continuous learning is promoted within the Development team, through regular ‘show and tell’ sessions along with dedicated time for training and undertaking recognised platform certifications. We have an ambition for all our backend developers to be Optimizely certified and are very close to achieving that goal.
Due to continued, sustainable growth, we’re looking for motivated developers to join our team and help build modern digital solutions using Optimizely, Umbraco, C#, .NET Core, and related technologies.
This is a hybrid role based in Liverpool, UK, requiring in-office collaboration once or twice a week. This needs to be an ongoing and sustainable commitment.
Your qualities
You are a resourceful and innovative .Net developer who enjoys writing code and learning new technologies and approaches. You thrive in a structured team environment, value collaboration, and take pride in being a valued member of the team. You are accountable for delivering high-quality, maintainable code and seek opportunities to improve your skills. You understand trade-offs in development decisions and proactively ask for help when needed.
You recognise the importance of knowledge sharing, both internally and externally. Whether through blog posts, team presentations, developer meetups, or engaging in technical forums, you are eager to contribute to the wider development community while also developing yourself.
From our mid-level developers, we expect high quality code, a greater degree of independence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior colleagues while contributing to technical decisions.
