MID LEVEL PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT - KATY, TEXAS

Position Description:
The Mid Level Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant within this position will provide care at a Family Practice Clinic with primary focus on Functional and Integrative medicine. We are opening a brand new location in Woodlands, Texas

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in medication administration, including intravenous therapy.
  • Strong case management skills to effectively coordinate patient care.
  • Knowledge of catheter care procedures and ability to catheterize patients if necessary.
  • Familiarity with laboratory tests and ability to interpret results accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures effective communications between the medical team and all other clinical and support-service team members.
  • Maintains and demonstrates a current working knowledge of procedures and treatments in accordance with organization’s policy and State and/or Federal guidelines.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments.
  • Administer IV Therapy
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and document findings.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
