Position:

• Design and develop software libraries, applications, services, and hardware-software interfaces.
• Perform coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
• Perform continuous integration, continuous testing, and continuous deployment with available tools.
• Regularly solve complex problems with software design and system integration while considering compliance requirements.
• Write design documents, write technical requirements, and create and edit user manuals.
• Work with research engineers or principal investigators to develop software features.
• Perform independent research to find ideal implementation strategies.
• Propose strategies to project leads.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other STEM
• 3+ years STEM job experience
• 2+ years software engineering experience
• Required Proficiencies: C#, Rust, SQL, GIT
• Recommended Proficiencies:.NET 8, GPU Programming (CUDA or Vulcan), Microsoft Entity Framework, Fortran, Python, Unity, Linux OS, Hardware-software Interfaces, API Development, UX Design
• Relevant Proficiencies: Numerical Analysis, Complex Analysis, JavaScript, MATLAB/Octave, Docker, Kubernetes, Robotics, Neural Net Development, Algorithm Development, Augmented Reality Application Development, Software Vulnerability Testing, Windows/Linux System Administration
