Description

We are looking for a Senior Reporting Engineer with strong expertise in .NET technologies and reporting frameworks to join our team in supporting enterprise-wide reporting and data processing solutions for one of our clients in the EU public sector. This role is focused on building and maintaining complex reporting applications integrated with databases and data warehouses. The position is fully remote and is open only to EU citizens. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain enterprise-level reporting solutions using: .NET Framework (4.5+) SAP Crystal Reports SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Gather reporting requirements and translate them into functional reports. Implement ETL workflows and maintain data consistency across reporting systems. Collaborate with business analysts and data teams to ensure data quality and accurate reporting. Optimize report performance and data retrieval logic for large datasets. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and stored procedures. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation activities. At least 6 years of experience in software development with .NET technologies. Proficient in C#, .NET Framework (4.5 or later), and Visual Studio. Solid experience with SAP Crystal Reports, SSRS, and SSIS. Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, views, stored procedures, and functions. Experience working with ETL pipelines and data integration workflows. Ability to analyze complex data structures and transform them into clear, actionable reports. Familiarity with XML, XSLT, and JSON. Good command of written and spoken English (minimum B2).
