OPPORTUNITY:

A growing renewables and environmental solutions company is building out its commodity risk function and is looking for a hands-on manager to help lead the effort. This role will partner closely with trading, procurement, and operations teams, while reporting into senior finance leadership.

• Develop and implement risk frameworks (VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis).
• Create reporting and dashboards covering MtM, exposures, P&L attribution, and limit monitoring.
• Partner with front-office teams to provide insight on positions, exposures, and hedging strategies.
• Enhance and manage ETRM platforms (Endur, Allegro, Molecule, or similar).
• Support governance by monitoring market, credit, and operational risks across portfolios.
• Deliver regular updates to senior finance and cross-functional leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years’ experience in commodity risk, trading risk control, or a related finance role.
• Strong background with physical and/or financial commodities.
• Familiarity with ETRM systems (Endur, Allegro, Molecule, RightAngle, etc.).
• Track record of building or scaling risk processes in trading or asset-heavy businesses.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
