Position Title: Mid-level+ to Senior Fullstack TypeScript / JavaScript Developer
Location: Remote

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in development with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Advanced proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Advanced knowledge of Node.js and at least one frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of version control using Git.
• Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
• Basic understanding of software architecture, software engineering, and design patterns such as MVC.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with AWS, including basic knowledge of cloud services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, preferably using Github Actions.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of additional design patterns beyond MVC, Singleton, Observer.
• Proficiency in other frontend frameworks like Angular and Vue.js.
• Ability to mentor junior developers, leveraging strong communication skills.
• Experience with microservices architecture to complement RESTful APIs understanding.
• Understanding of cloud platforms like GCP or Azure.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and ensure seamless project integration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, critical for identifying and resolving.
• Performance and scalability issues within complex web applications.
• Effective mentoring skills, demonstrated by the ability to guide and support junior developers.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced agile environment, which is crucial for adjusting to new challenges and working efficiently within Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features, ensuring alignment with technical strategy.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code and enforce best practices across the team.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster a high-performing development team.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, contributing to system architecture improvements.
• Mentor junior developers, dedicating approximately 30% of your time to their growth and development.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions within the organization and guide the team in adopting emerging technologies and methodologies.
